The daughters of Oscar de la Renta's clientele are all clinging to the new hot designer because he understands the fashion needs of women from the ages of 25-40(Iman is an exception). They want to look like Park Avenue chic women without the stuffiness. Jason Wu delivers their request on a silver platter.

Since First Lady Michelle Obama wore his glorious white one-shoulder gown to the Inaugural Ball, Jason wu instantly became a household name. He experiments with interesting prints and fabrics and intertwine magic with both elements.

Designers come and go. I have a feeling Jason Wu will be around for the next generation.

Melting Pot presentation day

Deadline!!

I really need to improve my presenting skills. I felt "Empty head" when I was presenting and I even couldn't find the words to say. But anyway, overall I think it was alright. It was hard work to be honest. I did a lot of drawings, a lot of developing in order to come up with the final design. However, I think there's a problem with my research. I just have kind of a few pictures for references and inspiration next to my designing pages - while other people have done A LOT of researching. Man! They really did a lot of researching. The tutors said my work is a little random as well as my research is not even close to enough. Ahh.....I don't know how to tell them that my ideas are random themselves, I got them just like BAM! in my head...

Red Carpet Icon: Diane Kruger

If I could raid closets, Diane Kruger would definitely be on my top ten list. The actress has impeccable taste. She is the queen of stunning flirty cocktail dresses.

It's a treat to view Kruger on the red carpet because I know she will give me fever everytime. I love her because she doesn't chase after the next trend. The former model is not afraid of wearing delicous color. She knows what works for her therefore she looks amazing.

The actress has a fixation with bows and showing her gorgeous shoulders. Diane's style is elegance meets funky which are two winning combination!
