" Curb Your Enthusiasm" Season 7 New York Screening

I know it seems like I worship the ground Kerry Washington walks on but she continues to looks fantastic especially in this multi colored printed Missoni dress.

If only she can teach a fashion course on being elegant and fabulous!

Red Carpet Icon: Linda Evangelista

"We don't wake up for less than 10,000 a day" is the famous quote by Linda Evangelista. Linda, Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford were the fantastic four supermodels in the 90's. Instead of having Al B. Sure( I am really showing my age) on my wall like my other friends, I had these stunning beauties display on my wall. She is a chameleon because she can wear any color or length of hair and can look feminine and androgynous all in one day!

Evangelista was born to Italian parents in St. Catharines, Ontario. She was discovered by a talent agent at the 1978 Miss Teen Niagara Contest and the runway would never be the same again. She is known for changing her look by a drop of a hat. In the late 1980's the model cut all her hair to a little-boy style and was promptly cancelled from all of her runway shows. Within months, she appeared on magazine covers and everyone emulated her hairstyle.

The supermodel is still maintaining her incredible style with edgy and chic pieces. Linda is still in demand with major designers. She was featured in the Prada Fall 2008 Campaign and she is Alber Elvaz, Lanvin head designer, muse. Evangelista's face is priceless and that's why she is the face of L'Oreal cosmetics. She also been honoured with a Hero Award in New York for her commitment in helping to eradicate aids throughout the world.

Evangelista has a unique stunning face that comes around once in a life time and I am fortunate to witness her walk down the runway and appeared on countless covers of fashion magazines.

"Whip It" Los Angeles Premiere

Eve is letting me have it in this sexy burgundy bustier pouf sleeves Dolce & Gabanna dress. Only Eve can pull off this hair but her make-up is a bit too much under her eyes. I am all for concealer but come on now!

I simply adore Drew Barrymore. She looks divine in this black leather with a red exposed zipper L'Wren dress. I am lusting over her red satin peep-toes Casadei heels

Serena Williams looks effortless chic in this ensemble. I am loving her metallic Gryphon racer back tank. Again, her make-up is on point but what is going on with her grandma press and curl hair?

Shenae Grimes black and white striped dress is absolutely adorable.

Which Diva Wore It Better? Evan Rachel Wood Or Anja Rubik

Evan Rachel Wood Or Anja Rubik

Evan Rachel Wood first wore this fabulous sparkly Gucci dress with feather detail on the shoulders to the Life's 11th Annual Young Hollywood awards. She paired her dress with a black and silver clutch and black Brian Atwood "Maniac" platforms. She looks hot from head to toe.

Anja Rubik recently wore hers to the Amfar Milano event. The model paired her dress with a black clutch and funky studded booties. She also look great in this edgy dress.

Evan just gave more attitude and I love her platforms so she wins!

Weekend Excursions.

I'm counting down the days until two upcoming getaways I have planned...

I booked two overnight trips in October and November for me and the boyfriend {we are in desperate need of an escape...}. I have been yearning for a vacation for a while, but until we can save up for a big, international excursion, these little weekend jaunts will definitely tide us over.

In October we are going to Eureka Springs, Arkansas for a stay at the Crescent Moon Hotel and Spa -- a gorgeous Victorian building, today considered to be one of America's most haunted hotels. There is going to be a ghost tour...and some spa pampering. Seems like a perfect combination! In November, for our anniversary, we are going to stay at the Price Tower in Bartlesville. Price Tower is one of architecture's best kept secrets -- it is a skyscraper built by Frank Lloyd Wright, right in the middle of Oklahoma's beautiful prairie. If you live near OK, or you are just an architecture buff, it is definitely worth the trip.

I am so looking forward to some R&R in the upcoming months! What about you, my lovely readers? Do you have any vacations or getaways planned? Sometimes the quick, weekend trips are more relaxing than the long vacations...you should treat yourself!

Beauty Tips & Tricks

There are a lot of remedies to treat your skin. But which one is the best? There are so many products, treatments and tips, but what works? If visit the spa it can be quite expensive. So I will give you some beauty tips and tricks you can easily do at home. Believe me, you will feel like you went to a real spa!

Oatmeal.
Good for soothing and clearing the skin.

For a smooth skin it’s important to eat healthy. In this case the oatmeal is not meant to be eaten, but to be used on your face! It’s a wonderful way to calm, sooth and soften your skin. Oatmeal contains beta glucan, a soluble fiber that creates a thin, moisture-retaining film on the surface of the skin.

How to use it:
Place a handful of whole oats in a clean washcloth and use a rubber band to secure it. Next, immerse it in a sinkful of warm water and squeeze in the washcloth above a holder for four or five times. Once the water is cloudy and blended with the oats, take this blended water and splash it on your face. Now let your face air-dry. Don’t rinse your face afterwards! (If you want to towel dry your face, pat as gently as possible.)

Eggs
Improves hair's resilience and luster.

How to do it:
Whisk together 1 egg, 2 tablespoons coconut oil (rich in moisturizing fats), and 2 tablespoons sesame oil. Apply the mixture to dry hair and wrap a hot, moist towel around your head. Relax for five to 10 minutes. Without wetting hair first, work in a handful of shampoo, and then rinse and condition your hair. It helps the hair to recreate itself. Result: It maintains the texture of your hair by the presence of the important elements. It creates soft and smooth hair. Apply this mask two times a week for better results.

Coffee Grounds
To reduce your cellulite.

Many people suffer from cellulite. The cosmetic industry delivers very expensive creams and products but it doesn’t have to be expensive.
Cellulite can be treated with coffee ground. It’s very important that you do not use decaffeinated coffee because it is the caffeine that reduces the cellulite.

The secret behind the success of coffee as a remedy for cellulite is the presence of caffeine. This substance has the ability to break down fat deposits which is the major reason for cellulite. Blood flows and the circulation is stimulated by the caffeine and the broken fats and toxins are easily washed away by the body because of an increased blood flow.

How to use it:
All you need is a cheap hand lotion and caffeinated coffee. You have to grind the coffee into dust and mix the coffee grind with the hand lotion. As a result you will have a cream. Rub it into you cellulite areas and leave it for a minute. Rinse it off in the shower. Do this every day and you will see those areas get smoother and firmer.

Caster oil
The beauty solution.

Caster oil is good for almost everything. It makes your lashes grow longer and it can help treat skin problems like oily skin. It can even be used to heal skin disorders such as eczema and psoriasis.
The oil can also do wonders for your hair, skin, lips, and nails. Castor oil is a not so well known beauty solution. This highly emollient oil is naturally rich in antioxidants and works as a deep conditioner to heal both skin and hair.

How to use:
To use, apply a light layer of this inexpensive beauty aid to your eyelashes and eyebrows at night before bed to help thicken the hair and aid in the growth of long, healthy lashes. You can also use it as a deep-conditioning hair treatment by applying a few drops of oil to wet hair and letting it be for 15 minutes or so. Apply a few drops to your nails and cuticles before bed to soften them and prevent cracking.

Avocado Oil
helps balance your skin and protect it from further damage.

Do you hate your oily skin and want to get rid of it? Did you try everything already, but did nothing help? Try avocado oil! Avocado oil helps the abundant fatty acids and balances the skin's moisture levels. The antioxidant vitamins A, C, and E help protect skin from further damage.

How to use it:
Combine equal parts avocado oil and evening-primrose oil (which supports collagen synthesis with its gamma linoleic acid) in a sealable bottle and shake to blend. Massage five or six drops into clean skin, and then cover your face with a warm washcloth for a minute to help the oils sink in. Leave the avocado oil on your skin for a maximum of 30 minutes. Rinse with tepid water and pat dry.

Oil Pulling
Improve your health, and makes your teeth white and healthy.

Oil Pulling is a simple, inexpensive method to Improve your health. First thing in the morning gargle with sunflower oil for 20 minutes, rinse mouth with sea salt water. It makes your teeth bling. The oil pulls all mucous, bacteria and toxins from your body through your saliva. According to Ayurvedic medicine, mucous is a poison that must be removed.

How to use it:
You take oil, preferable sunflower or sesame and put approximately 1 tablespoon in your mouth, tilt your chin up slightly and proceed to swish, squish, squirt and chomp the oil in your mouth for 20 minutes. Supposedly, you will begin to salivate uncontrollably and the oil will become like a foamy whitish liquid. Then you spit, rinse your mouth out really well with water and then brush your teeth.
