Winter Skincare - Relastin Ultra Emollient

I recently had the opportunity to try Relastin Ultra Emollient moisturizer. Winter is harsh on your skin. Cold weather and low humidity inevitably lead to dry flaky skin and finding the right moisturizer for winter can be tough. Relastin Ultra Emollient face cream is ultra hydrating and has antioxidants to protect against the environment. Vitamins and minerals, including Vitamin A, Vitamin C and peptides, as well as Relastin's Zinc Firming Complex, help to hydrate skin and improve your skins elasticity while reducing the appearance of fine lines. I found this cream to be perfect for my dry skin. It doesn't leave any greasy residue and my face feels moisturized all day long. I put it to the true test on my recent trip to the slopes in Beaver Creek, Colorado and my skin still felt great after a day of snowboarding. Visit Relastin for more information.

Product Review: Bloom Lipgloss

I recently had the chance to try this amazing lip gloss by Bloom. It comes in array of yummy flavors and colors. It is the perfect texture. Not too sticky and not too high gloss. It adds wonderful color to my lips and doesn't chap them at all. I can't get enough! Highly recommended.

Product Review: L'Occitane Almond Apple Velvet Face Fluid

Every article about skincare stresses how important it is to use a moisturizer with sunscreen. And up until this point, I had not been able to find a moisturizer with SFP that I have liked. Most moisturizers with sunscreen that I had tried previously felt greasy and often irritated my eyes. L'Occitanes Almond Apple Velvet Face Fluid with SPF 40 is my new go to moisturizers. The Almond Apple Velvet Face Fluid is part of L'Occitanes line of natural beauty products. It really contains all of the things I need in a moisturizer; protection, moisturization, and toning action. The product goes on smoothly and doesn't feel greasy at all. The light fresh formula contains essential oils and almond proteins to help improve the skins elasticity as well as almond milk to soften. While the organic apple vinegar helps to tighten pores and the organic apple extract refines the skins texture. The light apple almond scent is really refreshing and revitalizing. And if you love the scent as much as I do it also comes in a shower gel. Available at L'Occitane $39.

Product Review: Aveeno Positively Nourishing

I have recently had the opportunity to try the Positively Nourishing Hydrating body wash and Whipped Souffle by Aveeno. The products are infused with shea butter so that they are ultra nourishing and leave your skin soft and refreshed. I barely needed to use lotion after using the shower gel, unlike harsh soaps which can strip my skin of moisture. And after spending all week on my beach vacation to Cape Cod last week, these products were the perfect trick for restoring my skin.

Alice + Olivia for MAC Cosmetics

MAC Cosmetics has recently released it's latest designer collaboration with this new line by Alice + Olivia. I love all of the funky colors and the retro (80's) glam packaging. These pops of color will be really great for fall and can be used in a small dose during the day or in a heavier application for a more bold look during the evening.

Halloween Make Up

Dressing up for Halloween this weekend? I was just at Sephora and saw these awesome Halloween make up kits. Each one contains all of the things you will need to get these stunning looks. I especially love the vampire red lips!

Bridal Makeup Fashion (Bride Fashion)
Makeup is surprisingly often an overlooked item when planning one’s dream marriage. Brides always focus on planning their outfits, jewellery, hair and mehndi but don’t realise that, to look amazingly stunning on their wedding day they really need to have good makeup applied by a professional. Bridal make up by its very nature is a unique requirement and your make up regime for the big day needs careful thought and consideration. The best approach to make-up for brides is one of corrective, subtle make-up that enhances the bride’s best features & makes her look naturally radiant & beautiful on her big day.
The first thing people notice when they look at a bride – is how stunning and radiant she looks, not her makeup itself. In fact make – up that is too obvious can look overdone and artificial so understated and sophisticated elegance is the name of the game!
Marriage is a very special occasion in a woman’s life where a special glow is imparted on the bride’s face. In the past, it was the friends and relatives who used to help the bride in dressing up for the wedding.

1 Use a Very light moisturizer to prepare your skin. Choose a concealer of a lighter color shadow areas of the face around the eyes and nose.
2 Then apply and blend all over the face and under the neck an oil free foundation, which will last throughout a long and hot day. Try and choose a tone slightly lighter than your skin tone but never white! Indian skin has a yellow undertone and here we have used a No. 4 concealing matte foundation by Givenchy. Matte foundation is very important if you are being photographed, as you don’t want bad details to show through shiny skin. If necessary touch up your face with a concealer to get rid of blemishes.
3 Apply translucent powder with a pinkish undertone and spread evenly all over the face to obtain a matte effect, paying careful attention to the forehead, nose and chin. Check the front and profile of your face, as they are equally important. Always powder your chest area if you wear a dcollet blouse.
4 The eyes are always very important, as they are a reflection of the soul. They are the focus of the face. Use a brown eyeshadow for softness and white makeup to lift. Apply a dark tone at the outer corner of the eyes and blend with white to make grey. White and black make-up is the safest to use, as almost anyone can carry it off. Keep blending and adding color and so as to avoid concentration of any one particular color.
